Hopefully Useful ArmA 3 Information
Open the ARMA launcher
Go to the mods tab in the ARMA launcher
Type in task in the search box
You will see… In the lower right of the mod, click on it to display more options
Find Task force radio beta mod, and click on it to expand it
Click on ...
Select the open folder in windows explorer.
Click on I understand
Find the folder @Task Force Arrowhead Radio (beta!) and open it
Then open the teamspeak folder
the double click on task_force_radio (the plug in)
Click on install
Click on your name in Teamspeak, then look in the right window. You should see Task Force Radio status if you do not follow the steps below.
go to tools then options.
go to addons, and find the task force ARMA radio, if it doesn't say enabled, click it once,
if it is enabled, or you just enabled it in step three, now Click on reload
be aware it's kind of backwards, to disable you click on enabled, to enable you click on disabled
If you still do not see Task Force Radio status restart Teamspeak
Go to About TeamSpeak [1] or look above where the tfar version is [2]
if you go to about , a window will open that shows you the version
I highly recommend using preprogrammed radios in your missions, there are a few ways to do this with mods or with in the mission itself.
the easiest is use 3den enhanced Mod by R3vo
When you select the group, you will see a section called Composition: TFAR Properties
In each field enter the frequencies with a coma between each number
There are eight short range channels 30–512 MHz
Example: 100,101,102,103,104,105,106,107
There are nine long range channels 30–87 MHz
Example: 30,31,32,33,34,35,36,37
